June 6, 2025 - Special Session "Magnetic Levitation"

Within the framework of the Symposium, a special session on the problem of superconducting maglev transport will be organized.

The special session will cover the following topics:

• Permanent magnets and superconducting materials for magnetic levitation.

• Principles of maglev transport.

• Magnetic levitation in various technical systems.

• Eco-friendly urban transport based on magnetic levitation.

• High-speed vacuum maglev transport.

• Cryogenic and vacuum systems for maglev transport using high-temperature superconductors.

• Acceleration, braking, and energy recovery in maglev transport.

• Maglev transport routes.
